SUMMARY:The Hill: Stories From Spoon River
DESCRIPTION:The residents of Spoon River are dead… but they still have a few things they’d like to say. \nBased on the poetic classic Spoon River Anthology by Edgar Lee Masters\, The Hill – Stories from Spoon River invites audiences to witness the collective epitaph of a small town; its triumphs and tragedies\, its secrets and sins. Follow the wandering minstrel known as Fiddler Jones on a lantern lit journey through the necropolis to meet the ghosts of Spoon River\, each of whom has a story to tell. \nAn Unparalleled In Situ Experience\nGuided by Fiddler Jones\, audiences will once again journey by lantern light through the winding paths of the necropolis to hear the dead speak for themselves. The performance is staged in situ\, using the natural\, atmospheric beauty of the cemetery as a living set.\n“There is something profoundly moving about hearing these epitaphs—which range from hilarious to deeply tragic—while standing among the headstones\,” says Noelle. “The synergy between Masters’ words and the beauty of Sleepy Hollow Cemetery creates a truly magical experience.” \nNote: This is NOT a seated event; the group will be walking or standing for the duration of the show. The route does include hills. Please consider your own abilities before purchasing tickets. Feel free to call the office to discuss any specific concerns. \nPerformance Details\n Dates: June 5\, 6\, 12\, and 13\n Rain Dates: Sunday\, June 7 and Sunday\, June 14\n All shows begin at 8:30 PM. Cemetery gates open to ticket holders at 8:00 PM.\n Run Time: 80 minutes\, no intermission \nPlease consider personal physical abilities before purchasing. Due to the nature of the content and the nighttime setting\, the show is not recommended for children under 10.

SUMMARY:As You Like It - Hudson Valley Shakespeare
DESCRIPTION:“All the world’s a stage\, And all the men and women merely players.” \nImagination takes center stage in Shakespeare’s beloved romantic comedy. When Rosalind and her cousin Celia are forced to flee the court in disguise\, they find refuge and adventure in the Forest of Arden. There\, as new identities bring freedom and wisdom\, friendship blooms into romance\, and wit collides with whimsy. As You Like It celebrates the joys and follies of human nature and the beauty of creating one’s own sanctuary. Set against the backdrop of the bucolic Hudson Highlands\, our music-filled production will be a vibrant celebration of love\, identity\, and transformation. \n\n\n\n\nPerformance Dates: Wed 10 Jun – Fri 18 Sep\, 2026
