The Shamrock Run was started in 1989 on the idea that a run should precede Kingston’s St Patrick’s Day Parade, with cheering fans lining the roadside- a great way to get folks out in the spring and into running. Our 2026 Shamrock Run Honoree is Kate Cook
Post Race Party: Rondout Neighborhood Center, 103 Broadway (ID Required for Entry)
Grand Prize: $1,000 gift certificate for a trip to Ireland. Winners drawn from registered runners in attendance at the Post Race Party. Winners must be present at the time of drawing and have a number to win.
