Beacon Rising Choir Concert and School Supply Drive for I Am Beacon
Saturday, June 13th, 2026, 6pm (doors open at 5:30pm) and
Sunday, June 14th, 2026, 2:30pm (doors open at 2pm)
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 850 Wolcott Ave., Beacon
Concert run time: ~75 minutes with no intermission
With 80 members, Beacon Rising has become a place for healing, connection, and community building – things we need now more than ever. This concert will be not only an inspiring event, but also an opportunity to lean into community connection through song. AND we’re collecting school supplies* for local non-profit I Am Beacon, who provide new backpacks and school supplies to local students in need at their annual Back2School Block Party.
Meet your neighbors, enjoy the show, and sing along with us while supporting 2 beloved, local grassroots organizations, Compass Arts Creativity Project and I Am Beacon!
Beacon Rising performs a variety of styles and genres with an eye toward interesting, powerful, and artistic literature. The repertoire comes from female, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC composers and arrangers who highlight social and environmental justice, compassionate community, and radical self-love and healing.
