An Amazing Space for the Arts, Culture and Community
Housed in a lovingly-restored former 1876 Dutch chapel, The Local opened in 2023 under the guidance of Hudson Valley Live co-founders Isabel Soffer and Danny Melnick. These Saugerties-based music producers have long and distinguished careers producing world-class festivals, concerts, conferences and curated arts experiences. The Local is a 501c3 non-profit and presents about 60 events a year.
Located in the heart of the Village of Saugerties, the picturesque 99 capacity, ADA-accessible venue is also available to rent for conferences, meetings, parties, receptions, concerts, pop-ups, and more.
