The 13th annual Gardiner Open Studio Tour showcases our region’s artists and craftspeople in one of the longest-running studio tours in the Hudson Valley. Each year the tour hosts roughly 20-30 local artists and attracts hundreds of visitors. This year’s tour includes woodworking, pottery, painting, sculpture, metalwork, clockmaking, fiber art and more. Studio doors are opened to the public and collectors can get a glimpse behind the curtain and learn about the practice behind the art. Come see artist’s creative spaces, materials and processes and engage with the work in a whole new way. Some artists will offer demos or talks, while others allow browsing at your own pace. There is a special joy to experiencing art in the studio space, and Gardiner Open Studios loves to share that opportunity with the public. The tour will take place Saturday May 2nd, and Sunday May 3rd from 10 to 5pm. Please see our website for the tour map and information on which studios are wheelchair accessible.
