Ulster Performing Arts Center (UPAC) is a historic 1,500‑seat theater on Broadway in Kingston, New York, operated by Bardavon Presents (the same nonprofit that runs the Bardavon in Poughkeepsie). First opened in 1927 as the Broadway Theatre, it’s a Classical Revival “movie palace” with a large proscenium stage, balcony, and ornate interior detailing. It’s listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is one of the last intact pre‑World War II theaters in Kingston and the broader Hudson Valley.
