WINTER FARMERS MARKETS
KINGSTON YMCA FARM STAND | YMCA (Lobby) 507 Broadway, Kingston, NY | @yfarmkingston | Thursdays 3:30 pm – 6 pm (Nov – Last day Feb 27, 2025)
They are an urban, educational farm located at the YMCA in Midtown Kingston, New York. We use organic growing methods to grow food for our immediate community. We sell our hyper-local fruits and vegetables at farm stands in the lobby of the YMCA. They work with Pre-K through high schoolers, bringing young people to the farm to get their hands dirty as they learn, work, explore and play on the farm.
TANNERSVILLE FROMER MARKET GARDENS | 6120 Main St, Tannersville NY | @fromermg| 9 am – 2 pm | Saturdays (Nov – June 2025)
A small, certified organic farm that produces fresh produce year-round for our local mountaintop community. They have less than one acre in production in which we grow shiitake mushrooms, fruits, and over 50 varieties of vegetables! They also have laying hens and honey bees on the property that produce eggs and honey for sale in our farm stand. They sell directly to their customers via their farm stand as well as wholesale to local restaurants on the mountaintop.

Woodstock’s other festival – celebrating local food, live music, and our rockin’ community. Enter the Winter Indoor Market through the BACK of the church, into the gymnasium, where the market will be held.

The Millerton Farmers Market is managed by the North East Community Center and offers a wide variety of seasonal produce, pasture-raised meats, fruit, cheeses, baked goods + prepared foods. All of their vendors are local and use sustainable and ethical growing practices.

Phoenicia Farmers Market brings fresh, local vegetables and artisanal foods to Shandaken year-round (locations changed based on season). With 15-20 vendors each week, discover the groceries, gifts, and more available here in the heart of the Catskills.

Offering a Winter Share for the first time ever — running from January 3rd through March 30th, 2025 with pickup available Wednesdays through Sundays every week — featuring a plethora of Obercreek-grown root crops such as turnips, beets, radishes, and onions, as well as a variety of Obercreek-grown fresh cut greens from our greenhouses, including lettuce mix, arugula, mustard mix, and of course, our beloved winter spinach. In addition to all that Obercreek has to offer in the winter, your share will also give you access to all other products sold in the Farm Stand!
BLACK HORSE FARMS FARM STAND + CSA | 10094 Route 9W, Athens | @blackhorsefarm1 | Mondays – Saturdays 9am – 6pm + Sundays 9am – 5pm
Their Winter CSA Farm Basket program is from November 2024 – March 2025. They also have the option to buy one share per week. The Winter CSA lasts 20 weeks filled with delicious, healthy baskets of beautiful produce. They have full, mixed, half + personal. You will get tons of choices each week! Additionally, they have fruit, egg and flower shares.

Fresh produce all year round and a cafe for breakfast and lunch.
