A lifelong learner, Amanda Russo Rubman leads AR Studio NY, home to an evolving of her own artwork and collaborations that celebrate New York-based artists and vintage objects. More than just a medium, Amanda’s need to create comes from a desire to directly capture or harness a mood. Thus, her expression is more experiential, typically layering in texture and techniques that may include photography, motion, sculpture and antique materials. Amanda’s work has been exhibited at WAAM, Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild, Woodstock School of Art, Kingston Design Showhouse, Artport Kingston, Inness, Hinterland, Weird Specialty, and featured in Upstate Art Weekend. Last year she was awarded the “NYCxDESIGN Award for Art & Design Installation”, which “demonstrates exceptional design in the form of art and installations” and honored with the Chronogrammies’ “Readers Choice Best Artist 2024.”
