WINTER FARMERS MARKETS

 

KINGSTON YMCA FARM STAND | YMCA (Lobby) 507 Broadway, Kingston, NY | @yfarmkingston | Thursdays 3:30 pm – 6 pm (Last day Feb 29, 2024)

They are an urban, educational farm located at the YMCA in Midtown Kingston, New York. We use organic growing methods to grow food for our immediate community. We sell our hyper-local fruits and vegetables at farm stands in the lobby of the YMCA. They work with Pre-K through high schoolers, bringing young people to the farm to get their hands dirty as they learn, work, explore and play on the farm.

TANNERSVILLE FROMER MARKET GARDENS | 6120 Main St, Tannersville NY  | @fromermg| 9 am – 2 pm | Saturdays ( Starts Nov – June 2024)

A small, certified organic farm that produces fresh produce year-round for our local mountaintop community. They have less than one acre in production in which we grow shiitake mushrooms, fruits, and over 50 varieties of vegetables! They also have laying hens and honey bees on the property that produce eggs and honey for sale in our farm stand. They sell directly to their customers via their farm stand as well as wholesale to local restaurants on the mountaintop.

WOODSTOCK FARM FESTIVAL | Overlook United Methodist Church – 233 Tinker St, Woodstock NY | @woodstockfarmfest | 10 am – 2 pm | Every other Saturday (Starts Dec 2 – March 16, 2024) 

Woodstock’s other festival – celebrating local food, live music, and our rockin’ community. Enter the Winter Indoor Market through the BACK of the church, into the gymnasium, where the market will be held.

MILLERTON FARMERS MARKET | Millerton Methodist Church  – 6 Dutchess Ave, Millerton NY | @neccmillertonfmkt | 10am – 2pm | Every 2nd & 4th Saturday (Starts Jan 13 – April 27)

The Millerton Farmers Market is managed by the North East Community Center and offers a wide variety of seasonal produce, pasture-raised meats, fruit, cheeses, baked goods + prepared foods. All of their vendors are local and use sustainable and ethical growing practices.

NEWBURGH FARMERS MARKET | The Ritz (lobby) 107 Broadway, Newburgh NY | @newburghnyfarmersmarket  | 10 am – 2 pm | Saturdays ( Starts Dec 2 – April 27, 2024)

The Newburgh Farmers Market’s mission is to feed and engage the Newburgh Community, support local farms and businesses, and create a more just food system.

BEACON FARMERS MARKET | 223 Main St, Beacon NY | @beaconfarmersmarket  | 10 am – 2 pm | Sundays  (Year Round)

The Beacon Farmers Market’s mission is to feed and engage the Beacon Community, support local farms and businesses and create a more just food system. They’re most proud to serve as a community center point, a gathering space for farmers, makers, musicians, and shoppers. They pride themselves on providing fresh food (with abundant samples), live music from local artists, food benefits for those in need, plus smiles, love + good vibes.

PHOENICIA FARMERS MARKET | Pine Hill Community Center  – 287 Main St, Pine Hill NY | @phoeniciafarmersmarket | 11 am – 2 pm | Sundays  (Starts Nov 12 – April 28, 2024)

Phoenicia Farmers Market brings fresh, local vegetables and artisanal foods to Shandaken year-round (locations changed based on season). With 15-20 vendors each week, discover the groceries, gifts, and more available here in the heart of the Catskills.

 

WINTER FARMS & CSAs:

OBERCREEK FARM STAND + CSA | 81 New Hamburg Rd, Wappingers Falls NY | @obercreekfarmstand  | Wednesdays – Fridays 10am – 6pm + Saturdays – Sundays + 10am – 5pm

Offering a Winter Share for the first time ever — running from January 3rd through March 30th, 2024 with pickup available Wednesdays through Sundays every week — featuring a plethora of Obercreek-grown root crops such as turnips, beets, radishes, and onions, as well as a variety of Obercreek-grown fresh cut greens from our greenhouses, including lettuce mix, arugula, mustard mix, and of course, our beloved winter spinach. In addition to all that Obercreek has to offer in the winter, your share will also give you access to all other products sold in the Farm Stand!

BLACK HORSE FARMS FARM STAND + CSA | 10094 Route 9W, Athens | @blackhorsefarm1  | Everyday 10am – 6pm + Sundays 10am – 5pm

Our CSA Farm Basket program is a 20-week program that is currently running. Pick-up days are at the store on Thursday afternoon and Saturday mornings. During the winter CSA, we are not going to have drop-offs in other locations.

SUNFROST FARMS + CAFE  | 217 Tinker St, Woodstock NY | #sunfrostfarms  | Daily 9am – 6pm

Fresh produce all year round and a cafe for breakfast and lunch.

GREIG FARM MARKET & CAFE | 227 Pitcher Ln, Red Hook NY | @greig_farm  | Daily 10am – 7pm

The Hudson Valley is a pretty special place for foodies. We’re fortunate to have our plates filled by so many passionate farmers and talented chefs. Our farm market is a collection of our favorite local goods and produce from around the Hudson Valley. Visit the market for your weekly grocery shopping or just to grab a bite to eat.

MEISNER’S HERITAGE FARM | 3771 Route 9, Hudson NY | @meisnersheritagefarm  | Thursdays – Mondays 10am – 6pm

Fresh bakery, fruits + vegetable market and a kitchen deli.

LONG SEASON FARM | 68 Maple Ln, Kerhonkson NY | @longseasonfarm  |  Kingston + Beacon Farmers Markets (See times above)

Our table will be overflowing with fresh greens, root vegetables and storage crops at the Kingston and Beacon Farmers Markets all Winter long. No CSA this Winter 2023-2024.
