10 Things to Know About the Ethical Veterinarian Dr. Jefferson

By inside + out | March 10, 2024

INSIDE+OUT Upstate NY recently shared an exclusive interview with Dr. Jefferson, founder of Ethical Veterinarian. We love her ethos when it comes to caring for your beloved pets. First, she is loved by her clients because she makes house calls. Yes, you heard right. As you can imagine, she’s in high demand and isn’t easily able to add new clients. In addition, she is a special kind of veterinarian who prioritizes the health of her patients above conflicting industry interests, cultural trends, conveniences, or conventions. The cats and dogs in Dr. Jefferson’s care are approached with the utmost sensitivity and emotional awareness. She doesn’t engage in declawing, cosmetic ear cropping/tail docking, convenience euthanasia, over-vaccination or anti-vaccination, reliance on homeopathy/non-evidence-based remedies or the overuse of prescription pharmaceuticals. Intrigued? If you are a pet owner, we bet you are! You can read our exclusive interview here > We Are Upstate NY With Veterinarian Eileen Jefferson.
